During the global pandemic of covid in 2020, many families lost their livelihoods and were not able to pay for their dogs anymore.
Keeping pets and pet parents together
The global pandemic caused personal hardship and sadly also triggered many more abandoned pets. But thanks to YOU, our sponsors, and our grant partners Welttierschutzgesellschaft e.V., Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and the Bodossaki Foundation, we could offer almost free microchipping and neutering to over 500 families and their dogs, keeping them together. Thank You!
Thanks to our supporters, Asteropi’s mom was able to microchip and register her dog Asteropi and only paid 10 EUR and avoided a 300 EUR fine.
There are many more of these stories of pet parents who were able to stay together with their pets and did not need to worry about unwanted puppies either. Dogs like Bruno and Kiera who were neutered for almost free and who will never produce unwanted litter any longer, which gives their parents a huge relief.
